terms of service

1. the deal

By creating an account at makeaiugcvids.com ("the Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. The Service is operated by makeaiugcvids.com ("we", "us").

2. what the service is

The Service lets you create short-form, UGC-style videos using pre-made AI avatar clips, your own uploaded media, text overlays, music, and optional AI generation features. Videos are assembled and rendered locally in your browser.

3. your account

Authentication is handled by Clerk. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service.

4. billing

• Paid plans start at $39/month (Let's Grow), with Let's Scale ($99/month) and Let's Dominate ($199/month), billed through Stripe. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
• You can cancel anytime from your profile via the Stripe billing portal. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Payments already made are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Verified members of the AI For Savages community may receive included access at our discretion.

5. AI generation allowance

Paid plans include a monthly allowance of AI generation credits — 500 credits on Let's Grow, 2,000 on Let's Scale, and 5,000 on Let's Dominate (plan prices are in section 4 above and on the pricing page). One credit is roughly one cent of our underlying AI cost, and generation is metered: as a guide, images cost 3–10 credits, avatar video clips 13–26, and multimodal "Gear 2" clips 113–141 — while editing, assembly, and exporting are always free. Credits reset monthly, do not roll over, and have no cash value. We may adjust allowances and credit costs as underlying AI provider pricing changes; material changes will be reflected on this page and in the app.

6. acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that:

• is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes someone else's rights;
• is deceptive advertising — you are responsible for complying with advertising and disclosure rules (e.g. FTC guidelines) and the policies of the platforms you post to;
• impersonates a real person without their consent;
• is sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise abusive.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. content ownership

You own the videos you export. We grant you a license to use the built-in avatar clips and sounds as part of videos you create with the Service. The Service itself — code, design, branding, and the avatar library — belongs to us and may not be copied, resold, or redistributed on its own.

8. no earnings guarantee

Marketing copy aside: we provide software, not income. We make no promises about the money you may or may not make using videos created with the Service. Results depend entirely on you.

9. disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes we'll post the new terms here with a new date. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.
